IoT- The Internet of Things Education and Demonstration Pack
DarbyTech’s 'IoT in a box' gives students the freedom to learn about Ethernet, Cellular, and Low power wide area networks (LPWAN) It provides a hands-on opportunity to set up gateways, configure applications, and learn firsthand how the sensors can be applied to solve problems. To demonstrate how the networks operate, apply the sensors to monitor and capture data, extract/export and analyze the data as well as set alarms / send automated SMS and emails.

Sensors available include temperature, pressure, proximity, water, position, light, air velocity, voltage, current, and many more.
Standard pack includes :
Option 1. Cellular pack Cellular gateway Temperature sensor Light Sensor Water Sensor Proximity Sensor Magnetic Sensor Cellular package will require a sim card for mobile data network access
Option 2. Ethernet pack Ethernet Gateway Temperature sensor Light Sensor Water Sensor Proximity Sensor Magnetic Sensor Ethernet Gateway will require a hardwired connection to the local router.
This is all provided in a rugged presentation case complete with a 240vac power lead – adaptors available for all world voltages please state with inquiry.

Sensors come with a battery that should last up to 5 years. Other sensors are available - please enquire for details.
Software
License included as standard for up to 25 sensors to download applications to your mobile, tablet, or PC to configure the gateway and see the status of the sensors, set up SMS and email alerts, and download /export data for further analysis. Wi-Fi or Mobile data access is required to use the application. The tablet is not included in the basic package.
Students gain a real practical and theoretical understanding of the Internet of Things, hardware, infrastructure, and IOT applications.
